CC’s Witness Statement

I have attached my witness statement on this page (Incident at CNGC) .  I began writing this statement that evening and finished it the next morning.  I turned it in to officer Slavin via email that Monday morning.  He “never received it”.  As it turns out, my statement is apparently quite different from his.  This could potentially mean he got a few things wrong, and didn’t care to make mine evidence.  EPD has begun doing their own internal review of events, after our meetings with them these past few weeks.  Myself, Erica and Janel were asked not to share our complaints, by the attorney’s until the trail was over, with EPD.

Some notes on my statement, there are a couple of items I got wrong in my recollection when I was writing this.  First, I said we called the police right after the attack happened, it turns out we called the police once it was broken up.  I may have been thinking we need to call the police when the two girls kept coming after Mandy and I didn’t know if this was going to end.  The second error was I said Julie P came out to verbally assault Mandy and she never went outside, my apologies Julie P.  The third, I recognized the girls who I knew was Aku’s sister and was told that evening she goes by Api 🤷🏼.  I referenced her as Api, not Aparna, my apologies there.  Pretty much everything else I say fits the videos and audios.
