EPD Quotes on Video Segment 1 "Preparing for War" - "Fire starter"

Unfortunately, the officer who first approached Aparna and Gina as they were trying to leave, ‘bought’ their narrative of this “hate crime” assault that just took place.  Yet, he knew from the 911 call our party made, these two fit the description of the women who attacked Mandy.  My understanding is he was a new officer recently out of training.  I would imagine a tenured officer hears a story like this from the two women who match the description from the 911 call of the attackers, and realizes there is probably a little spin happening here as they know they are in trouble.  That said, I sent my statement to him on Monday June 20th, I had the first witness statement in.

When you read his report on the narrative of the night and my statement to him, there are significant differences.  You’ll see he says a random 3rd party threw Mandy into the door and I said Gina did it (Gina on body cam says it wasn’t her, by the way, I’ll share that video).  You’ll see in many body cam videos he thinks our party were the instigators and we started all this.  So my statement to him “never made it”. Interestingly enough, you see almost a month later I simply forwarded the original email to him, and this time he “got it”.  When you see my statement and his report, along with the month later statement he sent to the DA with his information “I just received this from this witness”, it will make people very curious.  

You’ll see on EPD body cams when our party is trying to explain what really happened this evening, that they brush this off and say the DA will review all facts and make a reasonable decision from there.  The DA didn’t receive my statement for over a month and by that time, the narrative to them was set.  This was a devastating event related to a situation that should have never gone this far.  

Apparently there was 2 or3 different Weld County DA’s that had this case, and as the EPD said they will review all facts and make decisions from there.  In the almost year of time for this legal case, I was NEVER contacted by any DA or anyone from Weld County.  No one!  This is a HUGE problem, and led to the court debacle many of us saw.
